Looking behind the facade
Some situations seem crystal clear, and because of their plausibility, questions often do not arise. Out of sight, out of mind – you are quickly satisfied, and life goes on.
However, taking a closer look is always worth it because the facade may look inviting and open, but it doesn’t necessarily have to be. Though, it is not always easy to see what hides behind; the effort pays off the moment you realize that your first look really was cloudy.
I took this photo in September 2021. You can see the facade of “Beit Gaon” – a brutalist architecture building in Tel Aviv.
