The turning point
At times, finding your place feels like constantly working towards a specific moment. By doing so, you make yourself believe that everything will change for the better once the alleged turning point has been achieved.
Yet, the idea that things will be better once this point has been achieved often becomes a fallacy: As there will always be new obstacles, there will always be a new turning point.
If you don’t want to end up in such an endless loop of waiting, you have to finally make decisions. Because if you do not know where you actually want to go, you will never arrive anywhere.
I took this photo in early 2021 at Cruquiuseiland which is a quarter in the central east of Amsterdam. This photo shows two buildings that were industrial buildings for the harbor activities of Entrepothaven. Today, much of their look is preserved but now, they are residential buildings.
