When reason can’t win

Mind and heart form an exciting but complicated co-existence. Many times we think to be extremely rational – as life appears to be more comfortable this way in many fields. We are working very hard on being strategic, unpredictable and emotionally balanced.

But the truth is, that there are lots of emotional spots on the wide field of rationalism. They love to tickle occasionally. Once they were given food, they won’t leave anymore:  The beginning of the end of logic.

We still assume that our strategies will overrule the growing amount of triggered feelings. But the ball that was set rolling does not stop anymore. Slowly but surely, we understand that the attempt of self-protection has entirely failed.
